Cancellation and refund policy
At Ametlla Diving we organize daily logistics of both personnel and material to guarantee a good service, so any cancellation by the client has minimal expenses. The acceptance of the reservation of the immersion once formalized, implies the conformity by the client of the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation by Ametlla Diving:
Ametlla Diving reserves the right to cancel the activity due to weather conditions, since safety is paramount to us. In this case, the client may change the reservation date or accumulate said amount on credit to their client account of ours to spend it on a future activity. We will inform you as far in advance as possible if the weather situation is unfavorable.
Cancellation by the client:
Due to force majeure (any unforeseen event duly justified such as death or serious illness of a family member or dependent, or changes in employment situation), 100% of the deposit will be refunded, as long as the cancellation is made via email to firstname.lastname@example.org before 24 hours from the start of the activity.
In the event that the canceled activity is a PADI course, the deposit cannot be returned if the client has already been registered with PADI, since the deposit has been used to purchase PADI equipment. In any case, the client has one year to take the course at our center or at any PADI center in the world.
For other reasons: Ametlla Diving will offer you to change the date, accumulate the advance amount for future dives or refund the money, as long as the cancellation is made via email to email@example.com within 24 hours of the start of the activity. In case of cancellation within 24 hours prior to the activity, or no-show on the day and time of the activity without notification of cancellation via email, it will mean the cancellation of the reservation and the client will not have the right to refund of the amount advanced.
If you cancel during the activity in case of single or double departure (due to dizziness, indisposition, cold or any other cause beyond Ametlla Diving’s control), the client will not be entitled to a full or partial refund of the amount advanced, since it has been blocked a space for you, leaving out other divers. To avoid these situations, it is recommended: take biodramine or ginger to avoid dizziness, take suitable equipment for the temperature of the water so as not to get cold, choose appropriate dives for our level and current condition, check your diving equipment carefully before coming to avoid surprises right in diving.
